Kodak ZX1 720p HD Pocket Video Camera test. Contrast, Slow-Motion, Color rendering, Backlight, Zoom, Handheld, Panning, Close-up to Medium, Focusing NB All video (including lightning) shot without use of a tripod with a Kodak ZX1. Audio track is not the original ZX1 recording! I disabled that when editing. ZX1 Pro's: protective cover, size, AA batteries, simple, .mov output ZX1 Con's: bad audio / no external mic, no macro, no motion stabilizer I am thinking of trading in my ZX1 for the new Zi8 that has many of these features, including macro, mic in, 4 x zoom (?) an optional remote control. If I were a developer at Kodak, I would also look into the possibility to build in a laser pointer to be able to frame without looking at the LCD screen, especially when you support the camera on the ground Edited with AVS Video Editor 4 Music by T. Monk (with adaptation for this video)
