The lithium ion battery that comes with the camera is also very compact and fits nicely into the camera on the left side under a flip open battery door. This compartment is also where the optional Sd card is inserted.
The wall adapter is a uncomplicated two prong plug to Usb adapter. You'll need the Usb cord to fee the camera (it can fee from a Usb port on your computer, or using the electrical outlet adapter). The Usb cord plugs into the right side of the camera under another flip open door. The compartment on the right side also contains the connectors for the Hdmi cable and the audio / video cable. These two cables are used to view the videos from the camera on your television.
Another foremost item that comes in the box is the wrist strap. The strap attaches to the lowest of the camera and allows you to place the strap nearby your wrist while you are using it. This will help prevent you from dropping the camera. It also comes in handy when using the camera underwater as the camera will not float if you drop it. So make sure to procure the strap nearby your wrist while using the camera.
The last two items that come in the box are the user guide and the software Cd. The user guide is short and straightforward, and comes in some languages. The software Cd includes Arcsoft Media Impression software to help you view and edit your videos.
